The Park invites you to both be active and relax. Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and enjoy nature and the stories the landscape has to tell. Whether you come for a brisk walk, a leisurely picnic on the grass, a good book in the sun, or a fresh cup of tea on the terrace, you’re more than welcome!

House Rules

Park Rules

  • Dogs may run free from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. At other times, dogs must be kept on a leash. Always clean up after your dog (cleanup requirement)

  • Stay on the trails and grass (do not walk through the plants). Do not feed the animals

  • Barbecuing is only allowed in the designated barbecue area. Open fires, tents, camping, and overnight stays are prohibited

  • Fishing is not permitted

  • Avoid causing a disturbance with music or other noise

  • Alcohol is not permitted (including open containers) from October 1 through March 31

  • Dispose of trash in the trash cans or take it with you.


Barbecuing in het Park

  • Barbecuing in het Park is only permitted in the dark green zone, the field next to Kievitslaan.

  • Open fires are prohibited

  • The barbecue must be at least 30 cm above the grass

  • Keep a distance of at least 2 meters from trees and shrubs and 5 meters from the water

  • Afterward, extinguish the hot coals and dispose of them (if available) in the metal containers

  • The barbecue must be placed on a stable surface

  • Leave het Park clean for other visitors

  • Be considerate of others

  • Amplified sound is not permitted
